This highly confidential top secret surveillance video documents the arrival of Diamond Seagulls in 2018 after being sucked into a CIA time portal in 1983.
The official music video for “The Way She Rides” aired in 2022 and made the press go wild about this band, that continued the work of Mötley Crüe and Van Halen.
The legendary web series was banned from all major video platforms. The government’s fear that Diamond Seagulls could spark a revolution posed a risk to the western world, as it had in 1983, and to the rise of the legendary glam rock band Diamond Seagulls.
Episodes 1 & 2 are the only available footage of over 166 episodes that aired between 1981 and 1983. Back then as an underground TV-series for local TV-stations.
After landing in 2018 Diamond Seagulls found out most of the episodes were confiscated and kept secret. 51 episodes could be recovered and were uploaded to Youtube and other platforms. Within 36 hours all of them had been removed permanently.
The show in Hamburg was absolutely amazing! At Maria’s Ballroom, we found a completely packed hall full of awesome people, all of whom were really up for some live rock ‘n’ roll. Diamond Seagulls played “Coming Over Your Eyes” live at CBGB in New York in 1982. An exciting night that never ended. Three days later, the band woke up in the cargo hold of a military plane and were taken to Hawaii. However, they managed to free themselves through their unparalleled charm and, in the process, seized the US Air Force’s whiskey supplies.

In den USA kennt man diese beiden Video-Folgen als “Ultra rare Episodes 1 & 2 of Diamond Seagulls Reality Show “Simple Life” on Music Television. Super ultra rare footage!!!”. Dabei handelt es sich um eine für einen damaligen Musik-Sender produzierte Show, die allerdings abgelehnt wurde. Mit der Begründung, dass Reality Shows im Musikfernsehen nichts zu suchen hätten. Dass M-TV damit recht behielt, konnte ja 1983 keiner ahnen…

Diamond Seagulls tourten 1981 inkognito durch Europa um ihre neuen Songs an nichts ahnendem Publikum zu testen. Natürlich rastete das Publikum reihenweise aus und verfiel in völlige Extase.
